That's not a bad idea. We have restrictions - no passengers (unless with family) for the 1st 6 months; then they can have 1 non-family passenger for the next 6 months.

We have the same restrictions, as well as no driving after midnight. And then they get a probationary license for 2 years. If they have no violations within that time, they get a full license. Yes, we are tough in this state. Heck, they just passed a new law that marks the cars of teenage drivers. People are fighting that one.
